Meet Laura Plambeck, Invacare's Sales Support Administrator
Laura Plambeck is our enthusiastic Sales Support Administrator and is a big believer in seeking to improve herself. In fact, her favourite quote is: “Inside you is the potential to make yourself better, and that is what it is to be human. To make yourself more than you are.”
Laura says, “I understand that life has its roller coasters and EVERYONE is dealing with something. I want to be a helping hand to whoever needs one and I try my best to find the best solutions and outcomes that will help a person to where they need to go and to achieve what they need to achieve.”
Laura’s role involves assisting the sales team and also helping make the experience of working and dealing with Invacare a better one for customers. And Laura’s helpful and positive attitude make her great for this. “I love working for Invacare. My role allows me to do what I love, and that is to help people. I enjoy coming to work each day knowing that I could be helping a person by making their life or job that bit easier. It gives you a great sense of satisfaction.”
Laura, who grew up in Western Sydney, studied her Diploma of Business Administration in 2011 and has always been a well organised and studious individual. “And I love working in diverse administrative roles!”
Laura grew up in a family who run their own businesses and her parents helped instil in her a strong work ethic. She says, “I also believe in having a good work/life balance. And in treating people how you would like to be treated. I always try and put my best foot forward, even when it’s hard to do so but I want to go to sleep each night knowing that I’ve been the best me that I could be.”
When asked what she likes to do when not at work, Laura said “I love YouTube! And that is an understatement. I thoroughly enjoy listening to podcasts on various court cases and conspiracy theories.” Laura also enjoys “walking around with a camera in my hands or learning new songs on the piano. I one day hope to be a well-known photographer for Western Sydney and I aim to learn as much as I possibly can.”
